Integrated Spatial Information
Solutions, Inc. announced that its subsidiary, spatial information technology integrator PlanGraphics, Inc., has become a distributor
of high-resolution satellite imagery from Space Imaging/EOSAT. The
distribution agreement was signed by PlanGraphics and Space Imaging on
June 30.
“This agreement gives its the ability to assist our clients in building
and maintaining a wide variety of base maps and databases in a cost-efficient and timely manner,” said John C Antenucci, ISIS president and president/CEO of PlanGraphics. “It gives them access to advanced technology solutions — currently 5-30 meter resolution imagery from Landsat, Radarsat, and IRS satellites, with 1-meter imagery to come from Space Imaging/EOSAT’s soon-to-be-launched Ikonos satellite.
“PlanGraphics has an unusual relationship with Space Imaging, since we
have been involved with the company ever since its inception at Lockheed in the early 1990s,” Antenucci said. “We can offer our clients valuable insight into the products and value-added processing that are and will be available.”
ISIS (formerly DCX, Inc.), headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla. is
establishing itself as a full-service geographic information system (GIS)
organization providing systems integration, data collection, data integration, system implementation, and advisory services.
