Space Daily and Brown Brothers Media Pte. Ltd. respect copyright and expect others to do the same. This page explains how to report material published on Space Daily that you believe infringes your rights, how to request permission to use our work, and how to report unauthorised copies of Space Daily content.

1. Reporting material published on Space Daily

If you believe material on spacedaily.com infringes a copyright you own or are authorised to enforce, email info@spacedaily.com with “Copyright complaint” in the subject line and provide:

  • your name and contact details;
  • identification of the copyrighted work concerned;
  • the exact Space Daily URL and a clear description of the material you believe is infringing;
  • an explanation of why you believe the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its representative, or the law;
  • confirmation that the information supplied is accurate and that you are the rights owner or are authorised to act for that owner; and
  • any documents or links reasonably necessary to assess the complaint.

Please do not send knowingly false, abusive, or misleading complaints. You may wish to obtain legal advice before making a claim.

2. How we handle complaints

We will review sufficiently detailed complaints and may request further information. Depending on the circumstances, we may correct attribution, add information, restrict access to material, remove it, decline the request, or take another reasonable step. We may preserve relevant records and share the complaint with the author, editor, contributor, licensor, service provider, or adviser involved so that it can be assessed and answered.

If we remove or restrict material and the person who supplied it disputes the complaint, we may consider information from both parties before deciding whether it should remain unavailable. Nothing on this page determines the legal rights of either party or prevents either party from pursuing remedies available under applicable law.

3. If somebody has copied Space Daily content

If you find a site or service reproducing Space Daily content without permission, email info@spacedaily.com with the original Space Daily URL and the URL of the suspected copy.

Space Daily may enforce its rights by contacting the publisher directly or by sending an appropriate infringement notice to that site’s hosting provider, search engine, advertising provider, social platform, copyright agent, or another intermediary.

4. Permission and licensing

Linking to Space Daily is welcome. Limited quotation may be permitted by applicable law, but attribution alone does not authorise republication of an article, photograph, graphic, video, database, or substantial extract.

For permission to reproduce or license Space Daily material, email info@spacedaily.com. Please identify the material and explain how and where you propose to use it. Permission from Space Daily does not cover third-party material unless we expressly say otherwise.

5. Corrections and other enquiries

Copyright complaints are different from questions about accuracy. For factual corrections, use our Corrections Policy. For other enquiries, contact info@spacedaily.com.
