Eutelsat’s U.S. operating subsidiary has been selected by CapRock Communications, to deliver integrated network solutions to CapRock’s global drilling, shipping, chemical, cruise line, natural resource production and government customers via Eutalsat’s SESAT satellite.
CapRock provides telecom access to onshore and offshore customers in every corner of the world, specializing in connectivity to extreme and hard-to-reach locations. By accessing Eutelsat’s SESAT satellite, CapRock will provide expanded broadband coverage from the North Sea to India.
Positioned at 36 degrees East, SESAT provides extensive widebeam and steerable coverage from East to West, enabling CapRock to offer wide-ranging access to Internet and e-mail capabilities, video and content streaming, data transmission and voice calling applications to its customers in the region.
