Most of DIRECTV’s high-definition programming originates from DIRECTV’s new satellite at 110degreesW latitude, which broadcasts unique signals that could not be decoded by most mobile satellite antennas.
The TracVision HD Converter enables any new or existing Digital Video Broadcast (DVB)-compatible TracVision satellite TV antenna to seek out, decode, and track this unique satellite within its coverage footprint.
Of course all TracVision antennas can also switch to DIRECTV 101degreesW and 119degreesW, providing continued access to all of DIRECTV’s standard TV and music programming as well. The TracVision HD Converter also includes a versatile, easy-to-use control unit that offers rapid satellite switching control and powerful system configuration tools.
