Cyber Defense Systems has secured an International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) agreement from the U.S. Department of State which allows Cyber Defense to export its UAV products to approved countries.
The ITAR was granted last week following the successful sales and marketing launch of the Cyber Defense UAV product line to the international military defense and law enforcement community.
Cyber Defense’s participation in the Warfare Conference in Tel Aviv resulted in an arrangement with M. Paz Logistics to represent the Company in Israel. Cyber Defense also announces Mr. Ryan Robinson has been engaged by the Company to build a sales force in Europe.
Mr. Robinson graduated from the University of The South with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and attended Oxford University in England under the Rhodes scholar program.
Barry Nelsen, Cyber Defense System’s Vice President of Sales states, “We have the first ever, affordable lightweight UAV. By bringing reps aboard and moving into the international markets, we can get the word out in Europe, the Pacific Rim and Mid-east.
“Shows and conferences in England, France, Thailand and other countries are on the agenda with the specific purpose of adding reps and resellers, and raising the interest of end-users to our unique line of UAVs.”
Cyber Defense Systems, an operating subsidiary of Proxity has available for sale the CyberBug, a low cost UAV developed for the individual user.
The CyberBug can weigh between 2.6 pounds to 6 pounds and carry a 5-pound payload depending upon the type of mission.
The Company is also developing the CyberScout, a UAV product, which is designed to offer VTOL capabilities (vertical takeoff or landing) and hover and fly horizontally for up to 45 minutes at speeds of 100 plus MPH.
