Comtech Receives More Orders For Its Movement Tracking System

Comtech Telecommunications has received $4.7 million of orders relating to its Movement Tracking System, or MTS, contract with the U.S.

Comtech Telecommunications has received $4.7 million of orders relating to its Movement Tracking System, or MTS, contract with the U.S. Army Logistics Command. These orders bring the total orders on the contract to-date to approximately $93.0 million. The orders received are for both equipment and services.

The equipment orders are for mobile satellite transceivers, ruggedized computers, related hardware and satellite service time. The remaining orders are for installation and support activities in Kuwait, Iraq and selected Army bases in the United States.

Fred Kornberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Comtech Telecommunications Corp., said, “We are pleased with the continuing demand by the U.S. Army for this important location, tracking and messaging technology.”
