Comtech Telecommunications has announced that its Maryland-based subsidiary, Comtech Mobile Datacom Corp., has received $4.0 million of orders for its mobile data communications products.

The orders are for the supply of mobile terminal transceivers for Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below – Blue Force Tracking (FBCB2-BFT), a battle command real-time situational awareness command and control system.

Although the orders relate to the FBCB2-BFT program, they were ordered against the Company’s U.S. Army Movement Tracking System (MTS) contract, bringing the total orders received to-date against the $418.2 million contract to $158.9 million.

Fred Kornberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Comtech Telecommunications Corp., said, “Our mobile satellite transceivers continue to play a vital role in enhancing the U.S. Department of Defense’s communications infrastructure.”
