A US Army helicopter has gone missing during a night training mission off Hawaii, officials said Wednesday amid reports five crewmen were missing.
The UH-60 helicopter was reported missing Tuesday evening off the island of Oahu, the Army said in a statement.
It had been taking part in a mission with another helicopter when it disappeared from radio and visual contact.
A search was under way with aircraft from the Army, Marine Corps and Coast Guard.
CNN reported that searchers were looking for five crew.
Women to train as Russian air force pilots

Female candidates are to be accepted for the first time to train as pilots for Russia's air force, Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said Saturday, adding there were so many applications that "we can't ignore them".
