Hampton Va (UPI) Nov 28, 2006 The U.S. space agency NASA has selected Swales Aerospace of Beltsville, Md., to provide research and technology services to the agency's Langley Research Center. The indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration has a maximum value of $200 million over five years, Swales said in a news release Tuesday. Under terms of the deal, Swales Aerospace will provide on-site research, engineering and technical support for the development of computational and experimental aerodynamic databases. It also will provide structural testing, analysis and interpretation of data as well as supplying guidelines for flight deck design and systems analysis and conceptual design of aerospace vehicles.
