Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (Nasdaq: GILT, TASE: GILT) reports that a major financial institution in Latin America is investing millions of dollars in Gilat's satellite connectivity technology.

Thousands of Gilat's VSATs (Very Small Aperture Terminals) are being deployed across the nation to provide communications backup over satellite, improving the reliability and robustness of the network serving branches of a world-leading financial services company.

The investment in Gilat's advanced satellite communications technology allows the financial services company to leverage existing infrastructure, preserve prior investments, and implement a robust satellite backup solution as part of a comprehensive system-wide upgrade and expansion of their network.

Ron Levin, Chief Commercial Officer at Gilat, highlights the importance of secure, robust, and reliable communication for financial institutions and various other applications. He emphasizes the value of satellite backup powered by Gilat's technology in achieving these goals.

"The team and I are proud of the strong benefits our leading, multi-service SkyEdge II-c platform continues to provide in Latin America and around the world," said Levin.

This partnership showcases Gilat's commitment to providing innovative satellite communication solutions for businesses and organizations worldwide, reinforcing their position as a key player in the global satellite communications industry.
