Satlynx is soon to become GE - Satcom. Along with the name change, the company will have a dynamic new corporate identity and website to match. "The evolution of our brand is a natural progression" says Ronny Svang, President and CEO of GE - Satcom. "As Satlynx GE we were able to show that we became part of GE but had retained some brand equity with our customers. Now that we are fully identified as a GE company it makes sense to take the next step." The Germany based service provider is a leader in satellite communications in Europe delivering services on a global basis for telecoms operators, government embassies, gas station networks, oil and gas fields and commercial shipping on the world's oceans. "The rebranding change is a positive move for us as the strength of the GE brand is immense" continued Svang, "our customers can only expect improvements in service and innovation as we live up to the expectations now upon us."
earlier related report "We are excited about the evolution of our brand," says Andrew Jordan, President and CEO of GE - Satellite. "It brings our company identity more in line with the overarching GE corporate look and feel, which is all about leadership and innovation. These are very much pillars that define our brand as well, so the transition makes perfect sense." The US based operator is a leader in satellite communications across the Pacific region, delivering versatile, high bandwidth payload capability for a wide array of communications needs. Mr. Jordan is quick to point out that the change will not affect operations in any way. "It is important to note that this will be a seamless process that will not impact the service we offer. Our clients can expect the exact same great customer service they've become accustomed to."
