Airgain, Inc. (NASDAQ: AIRG), a provider of wireless connectivity solutions globally, has introduced the RECON13 5G antenna, adding to its line of rugged outdoor 5G antennas. The RECON13 is specifically tailored for fleet and public safety vehicles, marking Airgain's latest venture into ultra-low-profile antennas intended for applications needing optimal connectivity in compact spaces.

The RECON13 5G promises high-quality LTE and 5G connection. Its notably low profile ensures it seamlessly integrates without interfering with vehicle light bars and other roof-mounted equipment. The antenna boasts up to 13 elements, setting it apart as one of the most versatile in today's market. Moreover, it can connect to virtually any vehicular router or modem.

The technical specifications of the RECON13 5G are impressive. It employs a 13-in-1 configuration, accommodating up to four LTE/5G cellular elements, up to eight Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 elements. For those requiring location services, an optional GNSS element for GPS is available. Emphasizing its durability, the antenna has received both IP67 and IP69K certifications, implying its resilience against extreme environmental conditions.

The EZConnect cable harness that comes with it ensures easy customization and integration with other devices onboard. Reinforcing Airgain's commitment to quality, the RECON13 5G is backed by a 5-year limited warranty.

Highlighting the motivation behind the product's design and features, Brian Critchfield, Airgain's Vice President of Global Marketing, remarked, "We consistently hear about the importance of stealth and flexibility from our public safety customers, whether for covert operations, for vandalism deterrence, or to minimize the overall footprint of their connectivity equipment.

The RECON13 offers 5G connectivity as well as the most antenna elements in a single low-profile housing. It is flexible enough to provide connectivity for applications that reach far beyond fleets, making it a game changing new entry into the market."

The release of the RECON13 5G antenna showcases Airgain's commitment to evolving wireless connectivity solutions tailored for specific sectors, while also emphasizing its ability to innovate in a rapidly advancing technological environment.
