Falcon 1 Video Suggests Stage Collision
Casper WY (SPX) Mar 22, 2007

In response to an email, Gwynne Shotwell, SpaceX Vice President of Business Development, disagreed with the anomaly assessment. "There was no anomaly there. We knew the second stage would kick a bit after separation. There was no contact from initial look." ... read more  ::  or see our Space X special report

NASA's Commercial Orbital Transportation Services program has been widely hailed by the alt.space community as a breakthrough in US launch policy, but the numbers just don't add up. This project will be too late and too little to make a significant contribution to closing the post-Shuttle ISS supply gap - except perhaps as a slush fund to cover cost overruns in Orion/Ares ... more

    Antibiotic Resistance In Plague
Rockville MD (SPX) Mar 22, 2007
The ability to resist many of the antibiotics used against plague has been found so far in only a single case of the disease in Madagascar. In a paper published March 21 in the new journal PLoS ON ... more
