SES Global said Monday that it intends to launch an inaugural benchmark Eurobond, subject to market conditions. This launch follows an extensive series of investor update meetings. The bond issue will broaden the funding base of the company and refinance existing debt.

Conexant Systems, Inc. has announced that EchoStar Communications Corporation has selected the company's recently announced, single-chip set-top box solution for use in their new low-cost, high-volume set-top box (STB) satellite receivers.
