At Space Daily we want to recognize the advancements that been have made by companies who have been innovative enough to merge science created technology with products that can be used by the public at large.
The following is a summary of the 2005 company that has received our award for innovative technological advances in the consumer market place:
Tri-Pedic - From Selectabed.com, this mattress utilizes the same memory foam technology that NASA first introduced to the space program in the 1970s to reduce G force pressure on the body by more evenly distributing pressure across the seat.
Previously there were only two-layer memory foam mattresses on the market place. The Tri-Pedic was the first memory foam mattress to develop a 3-layer distribution system to provide a more consistent support system in a variety of temperature settings.
