Telogis Expands Reach Into Construction And Heavy Lifting Sectors

Telogis announces the acquisition of the assets of Remote Dynamics, a pioneer in the GPS fleet management industry. The acquisition will further increase Telogis' penetration into valuable industry sectors and the Telogis product line will provide Remote Dynamics' customers with a strong suite of tools to increase the efficiency and profitability of their mobile assets.

Remote Dynamics has been a dominant player in fleet management technology for the construction and heavy lifting industries.

The acquisition will enable Remote Dynamics' customers to leverage the rich functionality, scalability and reporting capabilities of Telogis Fleet and its enterprise platform, providing them a deeper insight into the daily operations and strategic planning of their fleets.

"Remote Dynamics has a long and distinguished track record of providing fleet and asset management solutions in a number of major vertical markets," said Dave Cozzens, CEO of Telogis.
