. Launch Preparations Of Soyuz TMA-7 Started On Baikonur

The Roscosmos team is to start launch preparations of the manned spaceship Soyuz TMA-7 today; the spaceship was delivered by railway to Baikonur on the 6th August – said Oleg Urusov, spokesman of FSC Baikonur.

Soyuz TMA-7 was delivered to the Assembly & Test Facility of Site 254 and placed into the stand. At the moment the Roscosmos team is preparing to perform electrical tests.

Soyuz TMA-7 launch to the International Space Station with the main crew of Expedition 12 aboard - V. Tokarev and W. McArthur (back-up crew - ?. Lazutkin and J. Williams) and the space tourist G. Olsen from Site 1 of Baikonur is scheduled for the 1st October.
